Use a manufacturer-approved long band, shoes and a stable chair against a wall. Check for tears before each session; keep stretched bands away from the face. No improvised anchors. Warm up 5 minutes: march, shoulder circles and 5 chair stands. Try one unresisted set before each movement.

Recovery

Progression and easier weeks

  • When every set reaches the upper rep target with good control for two sessions, slightly increase resistance and return to the lower rep target.
  • Change one variable at a time. Persistent fatigue: remove a set or repeat the phase; week 6 can stay at 2 sets.
