Beginner Fitness Program

Coach's note

Sunday — Weekly Check-In

Rest and ask: What felt easy? What felt difficult? Did I finish with some energy left? Repeat the same level next week unless every session felt comfortable.

Practice one simple habit at a time. There is no need to count calories for this beginner plan.

  • Breakfast or first meal: include a protein source and a fruit
  • Lunch and dinner: aim for protein, vegetables, and a comfortable portion of carbohydrates
  • Keep water visible and drink regularly throughout the day
  • Choose one easy fallback meal for busy days
  • Start with one habit for 7 days before adding another

Supplements

Optional Supplements

Supplements are not required for progress and do not replace balanced meals, sleep, or training. Ask a doctor or pharmacist when taking medication or managing a health condition.

  • Protein powder: only useful when regular food does not cover protein needs
  • Creatine monohydrate: discuss suitability and dosage with a qualified healthcare professional
  • Vitamin D: consider according to local medical guidance or a confirmed deficiency
  • Avoid fat burners, stimulant-heavy pre-workouts, and products promising rapid results

Resources

Quick Reference Toolkit

Three beginner rules to use during every session.

  • Effort: stay around 4–6 out of 10 and keep enough breath to speak
  • Minimum session: 5 minutes of movement is useful when energy is low
  • Progression: add only one small change at a time—one repetition, a few minutes, or a little resistance
